Thats the amount the technology giants Microsoft have offered to buy Yahoo. Yahoo to me would’ve been one of the first on the scene when the internet became mainstream and they definitely were leaders in search engine technology but then the might of Google trundled along! I don’t use Yahoo and bar my sister i don’t know anyone who uses yahoo mail and i certainly wouldn’t think of searching using Yahoo. (i nearly typed “wouldn’t think of googling using Yahoo…”)
But the pressing matter is, post take over what will Yahoo be known as? Will they change the name or will they keep the Yahoo branding and have a little Microsoft logo beside it? oooh exciting!
