Shocked to say the least that i have been longlisted for the Best Newcomer blog in the Irish Blog Awards 2008. Now i’l be honest from the outset and declare

Yes I did nominate myself.

Still it’s great to be considered along with such popular blogs like Sabrina Dent, Alexia and One for the Road (who has vowed to kill the first born of every nominee if he doesn’t win). There’s a lot of choice out there but again it’s just great to be considered!

What has Halle Berry got to to with it? eh i dunno, i got lazy with google images!

The long lists for the Irish Blog Awards have been released, well when i say ‘released’  it’s more of a cloak and dagger affair really with drip feeds appearing on strategic sites.
It certainly seems like the judges have their work cut out with large numbers of top blogs against each other!

The official awards.ie blog has the released leaked categories and should be drip feeding us more as the evening progresess…
